World of Warcraft - Getting a Job on a Roleplaying Server
Erin G-Homes
This video is about how to handle getting a job on a role playing server in WoW. There are many jobs like profession jobs (tailoring, jewelcrafting, etc.) but also more fictional jobs like being an innkeeper or a chef. RP servers are popular and the one featured in this video is Moonguard (or is it Moon Guard?!)…

Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion - Untaxing the Poor Quest
Erin G-Homes
I’m playing through Oblivion right now and am finding certain spots a bit more difficult than others in terms of puzzles, etc. So, I figured I’d make some short blog posts about them for anyone else Googling these same issues.** SPOILER ALERT – DO NOT READ IF YOU WANT TO FIGURE THIS OUT YOURSELF **
This quest, Untaxing the Poor, only comes after you’ve joined the Thieves Guild under the watch of The Gray Fox. The quest sends you on a mission to take back the tax and other miscellaneous items from Hieronymus Lex. The goal is to sneak into the South Watch Tower and steal the items.
Before you start this quest, make sure to have lock picks on you as you will need them in two locations. My advice is to have at least 15 or so because you just never know how many it will take to open a lock. If you don’t know where to get lock picks in Oblivion, you can grab them from Armand near the Imperial Waterfront or from Ongar in Bruma (the fence). You can also find them in some dungeons and caves once you kill certain creatures.
When you first walk into the tower, you might be wondering where to go… Well, there are ladders along the side of the wall that you can use. Go into sneak mode and then climb the ladders all the way up to the fourth floor, the Captain’s office. It’s best to do this late at night as that is when the Captain is sleeping and there aren’t as many guards. I went in around 9pm (game time) and there were no guards on the first floor, one on the second, two guards sleeping on the third and the fourth was empty.
Go all the way up to the top and go to the right (I think) and you’ll see a desk. Pick the lock and then grab the stuff from the desk. Sneak back down and out. Fast travel back to the waterfront and deliver the goods.
Questions? Ask them. Otherwise — good luck!

Finished COD:MW2 Campaign
Erin G-Homes

I’ll write a better, longer, more epic review later but omg… I just finished the COD:MW2 campaign and it’s awesome!!
The story line kept me engaged and interested and I didn’t feel bored at all. Loved the cross-over between reality and fiction (ie: being in the Oval Office in the White House shooting soldiers) and loved that there wasn’t anything in the story that I rolled my eyes over. That’s the toughest part sometimes for me and video games… I really don’t like story lines that try to be real but then add in things that could never happen… However, if it’s like a video game about alien zombies who prey on humans but only humans with the flu… sweet! I’ll play it. So long as the story line is clear before I buy it, I won’t be disappointed.
The graphics in the game are sick and I especially love the parts when it is using the epic graphics combined with speed… Ie: the snowmobile riding part and the boat part… Both amazingly awesome scenes that take a bit of practice but once you get the hang of it, it rocks.
I highly recommend playing out the story line once just to get through it and then going back to play it a bit more slowly. There is intel and other things you can gather and do throughout the game that I just rushed through because let’s be honest… I just really wanted to finish the damn game.
However, I will go back and try out the story line on a harder mode and doing more in the game.I’ve been playing a lot of the online multi-player version and am about 75% complete on that one… My PSN tag is shoelover if you want to add me. I play mostly Team Deathmatch or Team Deathmatch Express but am totally open to playing other games if you add me and want to group up.
Thoughts on COD:MW2? Leave ‘em as a comment!! xo
